  1.                Read Me file for HYDGEN for Windows

  3. 1. Installing HYDGEN for Windows is installed from the DOS prompt. The files
  4.     are contained in a self extracting archive file called INWSMADA.EXE. The
  5.     following files should be on the disk when you recieve it. 
  6.  
  7. INSTALL.BAT     - Installation Batch File
  8. README.TXT      - The file you are reading
  9. INWSMADA.EXE    - Self Extracting Archive
  10.  
  11. To run the installation batch file type
  12.        INSTALL S: D:
  13.        
  14.        where    S is the source drive  
  15.                 D is the destination drive
  16.  
  17. The following files will be installed into the created directory (WINSMADA);
  18.    HYDGEN.EXE - Windows Executable
  19.    SMHELP.HLP - Windows Help File
  20.  
  21. The following dynamic link libraries can be moved to the Windows directory
  22.    BWCC.DLL   - Borland interface library  
  23.    GSWDLL.DLL - Graphics Server interface
  24.    GSW.EXE    - Executable required for Plotting
  25.  
  26. To run the program from Windows you must either create a new group
  27.    (recommended name SMADA for Windows) and place the program item
  28.    in the group.

  30.    To Create A Group From Program Manager
  31.        File, New, Program Group, <Enter Group Title> Ok.

  33.    To Create A Group Item From Program Manager
  34.        File, New, Program Item,
  35.           Program Title>        Hydrograph Generation
  36.           Command Line>         c:\winsmada\hydgen.exe
  37.           Working Directory>    c:\winsmada
  38.        Ok.

  40. There is more about creating program groups and program items in the Windows
  41.    help system. It is advantageous for all Windows users to understand how
  42.    program groups and items operate.

  44. 2. What is HYDGEN for Windows? HYDGEN is a program which generates Watershed
  45.    hydrographs. It allows the user to create pollutographs, rainfall files,
  46.    watershed files, hydrographs, flow files, import rainfall data, print, 
  47.    plot, copy all data to clipboard, copy all results and plots to clipboard.
  48.    It is the first in a series of stormwater management programs for 
  49.    Windows.

  51. 3. Please Register Your Program. Registration will provide you with a hard copy
  52. of the program documentation, any program updates and access to all the other
  53. Stormwater Management programs currently under development. If you desire
  54. added functionality to this program I am a developer currently developing an
